OK OK OK so mundane doesn't mean silent. Well for Jas, the beer's were fine and for Telf I'm happy to talk about the lack of daily Jack fruit experiences if that helps?

So what have I been up to? This last weekend I went down to the south coast and pitched a tent at a place called Charmouth. The site was a bit chavvy and the campers were on the whole a bit chavvy, but the place is amazing.

A short walk and your on the famous Jurassic coast - home of smuggling, thwarted Royal coups and fossilised dinosaurs (no this isn't eastbourne, the dinosaurs are not grey haired and using scooter to get to the bookies, the fossils are actual stone, actual dead animals).

The weather was typical english holiday weather - so I packed shorts/sandals as well as jumpers/waterproofs and in three days I wore the equivalent of a weeks worth of clothing. I am now sunburnt and have a tent full of sand - what more can you want from the seaside?

The beer was lovely, the company was great and now I'm back in MK tapping away on my keyboard and trying not to smile in case my nose peels.

I'll get some pics up on here when I can work out how.

This weekend I've mostly been drinking Carlsberg. This has tended to happen when sport has been on the television and seeing as I have access to the sky multi channelmulti sports multi options, this has been most of the time.
The clocks going forward an hour probably saved my liver from excessive damage - God bless British Summertime!
My housemates were off doing exciting things - Anna organising her friends in Wales (though on the phone it sounded like she was doing a lot of shouting and not much delegating of tasks) and Chris was getting a toast tan on the pistes of europe. I felt it was my duty to do the mundane weekend otherwise we could have achieved critical mass with our activity ratings. No sacrifice is too big, let me tell you.
I was pleased to see that Spearsy got his polo mints - his blog is setting a standard that mine is failing to reach - but as I identified mediocrity as my standard, I feel that I'm over-performing right now.
I'll leave you now - I have to go to scotland later this week and must do some prep - I'll let you know how that goes next week.
